When I look in the mirror I still see a 20 year old man staring back at me. Unfortunately, that is not what the rest of the world sees. Getting old, well, sucks. Let’s be honest about it. I don’t have the energy I used to. I can no longer stay out until three in the morning, only to get up and do it all again the next day. My brain is 20, but my body is 40. The biggest problem is that I haven’t lost the desire to have a twenty something girl who can find me attractive. If you have an old pair of jeans that fit perfectly, worn in all the right places and show off all your greatest assets, that can say more than a stuffy old suit.

Don’t get me wrong, there is a time to wear jeans and then a time to get your three-piece on. If you want to really impress them, come straight from work wearing your power suit, slightly disheveled. It will show them that you can command a room, but can also find a way to relax and unwind. If you get all dressed up for nothing, that will not impress them, it will only say that you have nothing on the inside to impress them.
 

 
Above all knowing what is appropriate, for what occasion, is the most important thing. You aren’t going to be able to beat a 20 year old in the same outfit that they are wearing. It is just the reality of it. There is a reason why a 20 year old guy is attractive. It is because of their youth. You just don’t have that to give anymore. Wearing what the younger guys do, only puts you up against them in a competition for the best body. You probably won’t win there. You have spent the past 20 years perfecting your style and knowing what looks best on you. Don’t throw it all away. At the heart of attraction is the guy who knows who he is and what his own worth is.

If you want to attract the attention of younger women then you have to exude maturity, power and self-assuredness. You aren’t going to be able to do that in an Abercrombie shirt that smells like teen spirit. Show your age in a good way; do it by showing off your class and style. That doesn’t mean that every once in a while you shouldn’t open up a GQ catalogue, or update your look. Just make sure that you stay away from the trendy styles. If you aren’t on top of who is wearing them, you may be saying something to the world that you didn’t know you were. Styles come and go; maturity and class are everlasting and hot.
